Women And Children Last

“We've waited eight years to make sure, but this is the perfect time to bring Murderdolls back to the world. We've got nothing to lose and nothing to prove. So raise your fist along with us mother fuckers, and sorry if you get a bloody nose along the way. It's about to get ugly! Women and children last!"

Murderdolls to play at this year's OZZFEST!

Metal Hammer magazine has revealed more details about the U.K. edition of Ozzy Osbourne's travelling festival, Ozzfest, which will be held on September 18 at London's O2 Arena. In addition to Ozzy, the main-stage lineup for the event will include KORN, MURDERDOLLS and SKINDRED.

A yet-to-be-announced act will open the main-stage festivities. There will also be a second stage at the event, sponsored by Jägermeister, that will feature five bands and is expected to be a combination of up-and-coming bands and established artists.

Tickets for Ozzfest 2010 go on sale Friday, June 18 at 9 a.m. Tickets will be priced £40 in advance (subject to booking fee).

VAMPIRES EVERYWHERE! To Support MURDERDOLLS In California

Los Angeles rockers VAMPIRES EVERYWHERE! — whose sound has been described as an infusion of music genres, including screamo, dance, pop and hardcore — will support the MUDERDOLLS at The Glasshouse in Pomona, California on Tuesday, June 15 and the Key Club in West Hollywood, California on Thursday, June 17.

VAMPIRES EVERYWHERE! recently entered the studio in the band's hometown with producer Fred Archambault (AVENGED SEVENFOLD, DEFTONES) to begin recording its full-length debut for a fall 2010 release via Century Media Records.

Commented vocalist Michael Vampire: "The band is excited to take two days off from the recording process to play with the MURDERDOLLS. We greatly respect and admire this band and it should be a great two shows.

"We have been hammering away in the studio on the new record and things are going amazing! Fred really gets our artistic vision.

"Right after the tracking is done in the studio, we will be leaving on a six-week tour throughout North America, which we are super-excited for. The tour is called 'The Sacred Ceremony Tour' with BLACK VEIL BRIDES, MODERN DAY ESCAPE and GET SCARED. It should be an amazing tour and we're excited to meet all of our fans.

"Everyone should definitely come out next week and watch us rock out with the MURDERDOLLS and also catch our show on the road all summer long."

Murderdolls Set To Rock California This Month

Murderdolls, the recently resurrected glam/punk/rock project of Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison and his cohort Wednesday 13, will play two shows in California later this month, casting a fiendish shadow over the warm and sunny Golden State with their brand of irreverent, middle-finger-in-the-air rock ‘n’ roll. The band’s long awaited second album, Women and Children Last, is slated for release through Roadrunner this August.

The band will play the Glass House in Pomona on June 15 and will follow up that show with an appearance at the Key Club in Los Angeles on June 17.

As soon as fans caught wind of the shows, the venues were bombarded with phone calls demanding more information. The calls came from fans across the globe, from locations as vast and varied as Russia, the UK, and well, Texas. It’s clear that interest in the Murderdolls is burning at a fevered pitch, since they merely played 15 shows on US soil in support of their debut, Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls, way back in 2002.

WEDNESDAY 13: PAUL GRAY Was 'One Of The Most Genuine People You Could Ever Ask To Meet'

MURDERDOLLS frontman Wednesday 13 has released the following statement regarding the passing of SLIPKNOT bassist Paul Gray:

"I write this with great sadness that such a great human being has left us.

"Paul Gray was not a close friend of mine, but we were friends. In fact, he is one of the first people I met in this crazy fucked up business, but I will say that he treated me like he knew me his whole life. One of the most genuine people you could ever ask to meet.

"I remember once back years ago, I hadn't seen him in a year or more — no phone calls, text — and outta the blue he texted me.... 'Hey, you wanna come hang out and go to the Grammys with me? We got nominated and I wanted to hang with ya.'

"That's the kinda guy I will remember Paul Gray as, just an all-around good person.

"To my brother Joey [Jordison, SLIPKNOT drummer and MURDERDOLLS guitarist], and all my friends within the SLIPKNOT family, my thoughts are with you all."

MURDERDOLLS Schedules First Concert In More Than Six Years
